To stay on the theme of homecomings, the radio station BPM Sports asked an interesting question to its listeners.
Which of these former Montreal Canadiens players would you most like to see brought back by Kent Hughes?
And here is the poll in question:
Nearly 37% of fans indeed voted for Danault, while 27.7% voted for Artturi Lehkonen.
Finally, 19% voted for Sean Monahan, and 16% of respondents said they would like to see Tyler Toffoli back in the Canadiens uniform.
It must be said that these are four good choices, four very good players, but let's also add that the two most realistic returns are those of Toffoli or Monahan, as they will be unrestricted free agents on July 1st. They will be free as a bird.
As for Danault, he is a very important player for the Los Angeles Kings, but they will have to make big decisions there due to the bad and very heavy contract signed with Pierre-Luc Dubois.
Do you agree with the results of this poll?
