Martin Biron Suggests Ridiculous Trade for Sidney Crosby, and Fans Are Outraged

During the Four Nations Faceoff, BPM Sports host Martin Lemay caused quite a stir by stating he would be willing to trade Cole Caufield and two first-round picks to bring Sidney Crosby to the Montreal Canadiens.

As reported by the site DansLesCoulisses, Lemay revisited the topic on air, this time proposing a trade involving three first-round picks and prospect Michael Hage to his colleagues Martin Biron and Éric Bélanger.

Let's just say the two former NHL players don't share the same vision when it comes to the hypothetical arrival of No. 87 in Montreal.

As for Bélanger, he's not nearly as enthusiastic as his colleague and doesn't see why the Canadiens would make such a move and mortgage their future.

But to be realistic, the chances of this happening are pretty much zero. According to Biron, the Penguins organization would want to find a team Sidney Crosby actually wants to play for, and if Kent Hughes made that kind of offer, he'd be "sent to the Moon" by Kyle Dubas.

It's clear that Dubas would demand either already established Canadiens players or top-tier prospects for a deal with Kent Hughes to be considered.
