We finally have some concrete action when it comes to NHL trade rumors involving the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Josh Yohe: Re Penguins: "A big trade or two feels likely before training camp. Dubas hasn't received offers that meet his liking yet but he is fully committed to a rebuild"
- The Athletic
So yes, the Penguins are clearly heading toward a full rebuild (and teardown), which certainly won't make
Sidney Crosby happy.
All the details are in his full article, but this will definitely add some spice to the month of August.
Multiple Penguins Players Are Available on the Trade Market
This will be a fascinating storyline to follow.
Rakell recorded 70 points in 81 games last season.
Rust tallied 65 points in 71 games last season.
Karlsson posted 53 points in 82 games last season.
Malkin notched 50 points in 68 games - still quite productive. Depending on the price, he would definitely be the one I'd target most.
And on top of that, he might even help lure a certain Sidney Crosby back later on.
