Canadiens Reportedly Shut Down Rumors of Acquiring Kris Letang Despite Kent Hughes Connection

We have an update regarding Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang, specifically involving Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens.
Letang's name has been linked to several rumors in Montreal, especially last summer, but we now have a verdict for this offseason.
A Pittsburgh source reports that the Montreal Canadiens are not interested in acquiring Kris Letang
The case is already closed.
"Josh Yohe mentioned that because of his performance, his salary ($6.1 million for three more years), and his health issues, no GM wants to take on his contract.
And he made a point of saying that even though Letang has a home in Southern California and is from Montreal, those teams simply aren't interested in acquiring him."
