Trade involving the Montreal Canadiens and the Tampa Bay Lightning? GM Julien BriseBois just attended the game
As recently reported by the renowned David Pagnotta, the Tampa Bay Lightning are very active on the trade market right now, and on the Montreal Canadiens' side, with the unfortunate injury suffered by Kirby Dach, it opens up all new possibilities.
Very interestingly, as notably reported by Luc Gélinas, there were a lot of scouts at the Bell Centre for the Habs' game against the Capitals last night.
One name, in particular, caught attention.
The General Manager of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Julien BriseBois, personally traveled to see the Habs-Capitals game at the Bell Centre. It's rare to see that.
Unsurprisingly, it raised questions about a potential trade between Kent Hughes and him. It's the talk of the town.
In your opinion, could
Jake Allen be the goaltender targeted by the Tampa Bay Lightning? Or perhaps a defenseman like
David Savard is in their sights?
One thing's for sure, if he came to see Jake Allen, he got a show! The goaltender was sensational.
Another name to keep in mind is
Anthony Mantha of the Washington Capitals. A three-team trade, in which Kent Hughes retains some salary, is also a possibility.
A hypothesis by Renaud Lavoie.
