Trade involving Shane Wright: a major proposal has just surfaced
As the NHL Draft is approaching really fast, rumors and trade proposals are flying from everywhere.
Of course, we often focus on those involving the Montreal Canadiens, but it's the same in all markets.
In the last few hours, Joe Haggerty, who covers the activities of the Boston Bruins, published this:
"Would a trade scenario between Shane Wright and the Boston Bruins interest Boston fans if it involved trading Jeremy Swayman to Seattle for it to happen?" Imagine the scenario!
It must be said that the Bruins have the luxury of having two excellent number one goalkeepers, and they want to take advantage of it (by trading one of the two for a young future center like Wright).
Who would win this transaction, according to you?
To Boston
- Shane Wright
To Seattle
- Goaltender Jeremy Swayman
- Draft choice if necessary
Swayman, 24 years old, won 24 of his 34 starts this season, maintaining an average of 2.27 goals allowed per game and an efficiency rate of 0.920.
Wright, 19 years old, scored 37 points in 20 games this season in the OHL. He was drafted 4th overall by the Seattle Kraken in 2022.
