So the 37th overall pick, acquired yesterday afternoon by the Avalanche in the Alex Newhook trade, really did not stay in Colorado for long.
It moves to the Lightning in exchange for Ross Colton.
Colton, 26 years old, amassed 32 points in 81 games last season with the Lightning, and 4 points in 6 playoff games.
