Signing alert of another goaltender, and the fans love it
In the last few hours, the Philadelphia Flyers have announced the signing of a young goaltender who is really appreciated by their fans.
Samuel Ersson has just signed a two-season contract extension, with an annual value of $1.45 million.
His rookie contract is still valid for one season, so he is now under contract until 2026 in Philadelphia.
Clearly, they see him as an NHL-caliber future goalender for them.
Ersson, 23 years old, is a 6-foot-2, 176-pound Swedish goaltender drafted in 2018.
In 12 career NHL games, he has 6 wins, a goals-against average of 3.07, and a save percentage of 0.900.
He also played 42 games in the AHL last season. (24 wins, average of 2.84, and save percentage of 0.900)
So another goaltender signs! Will Samuel Montembeault be next?
