So it becomes much easier to assess the trade concluded between the Montreal Canadiens and the Colorado Avalanche.

Now knowing all this, do you believe that Kent Hughes did well? Without the Alex Newhook trade, he could have gotten Gauthier and Gulyayev, or Colton and Gauthier.
In short, big work for these general managers, and it is very ironic to see that Gauthier was finally drafted with the pick that belonged to the Montreal Canadiens just the day before yesterday.
