Major: Kent Hughes is working on a trade with the Sharks
It's starting to move in the NHL and with the Montreal Canadiens.
According to journalist Alexandre Gascon from Radio-Canada, Kent Hughes is currently working to try to complete a trade with the San Jose Sharks to move up to the fourth overall pick.
Will the trade materialize? Stay tuned, but there's a lot of work happening behind the scenes.
That would be perfect!
"Right now, the Canadiens are doing everything they can to try to move up to fourth. They are very aggressive" - an anonymous hockey insider says.
"I'm not telling you what I know, but what I've heard." - Alexandre Gascon
He specifies this:
"Behind the scenes, there are whispers that they are making significant efforts to court the San Jose Sharks and convince them to swap their precious fourth pick."
