The asking price? A 2nd-round pick in the next NHL draft.

If Kent Hughes wants to acquire goaltender Vladar, all he has to do is send a 2nd-round pick in the 2024 draft to the Flames, and it will be done.
It's worth noting that we are talking about the 2024 2nd-round pick of the Colorado Avalanche, not the Montreal Canadiens' (a big difference).
Would we make this trade? For now, no.
However, it's an option to keep in mind if unfortunately, Montembeault does not have a season that meets expectations.
