Unexpected official statement from the Canadiens regarding Brendan Gallagher's fiancée
It's rare to see this from professional organizations, but clearly, the Montreal Canadiens are not afraid to innovate and we love it.
Over the past few hours via its official page, the Habs have published an official statement on Brendan Gallagher's new fiancée, Quebecer Emma Fortin.
As you know, Gallagher recently proposed to his sweetheart in Whistler, British Columbia. After this, the Habs' communications team took the opportunity to speak with Emma, to ask her questions about Brendan, his lifestyle, and their moments together.
Here's a small excerpt:
«The Bengals are his favorite football team. Does he watch the games every Sunday?
Yes, but it's okay because he massages my feet at the same time, while I do my homework next to him. [laughs]
So, he still takes care of you?
«Yes, 100%!»
What activities do you like to do together?
«We do everything, whether it's going for walks, going out for dinner or breakfast... We are always together.»
How was he on your first date?
«At first, it seemed like he was shy. Then, he came over to me and we've been inseparable ever since.»
What was the first gift he bought you?
«A little bracelet.»
Does he cook anything else?
«He barbecues. Otherwise, he normally orders in for breakfast.»
How is he at home? Is he more of a teddy bear or is he independent?
«He's a big teddy bear.»
