There is currently a photo of Mark Stone's wife, from the Vegas Golden Knights, that has gone viral for the wrong reasons.
It's absolutely not Mark Stone's fault, and it's even less his wife's fault, but it proves once again how Gary Bettman has made ridiculous and questionable decisions in this case.

As you know, the Golden Knights currently have an astronomical payroll in these 2024 playoffs, thanks to the infamously famous long-term injured list, and also because there is no salary cap in the playoffs.
It's a huge advantage for a club like Las Vegas.
Especially in the case of Mark Stone, it becomes almost suspicious how much he allows the Golden Knights to exploit the system, as you can see in the image above.
Gary Bettman embarrasses himself so much that even Mark Stone's wife took a photo with a fan who replaced the player's name with "LTIR". Even Mark Stone's wife laughs at her husband's situation.

We repeat, but it's absolutely not Mark Stone's fault, and it's even less so his beautiful wife's.
It's Gary Bettman who is once again causing a stir for the wrong reasons. We remind you that it took everything for the Canadiens to be able to place Shea Weber on the LTIR in 2021, and the NHL had put several obstacles in Montreal's way. (Weber has never played again since then!)
