Last night, after his team was eliminated in six games by the Dallas Stars, Marc-André Fleury made a major statement about his future in the NHL.

It will be a huge page turning in the NHL, and as a big fan of Marc-André Fleury, it makes me sad and nostalgic, but what a career!
Fleury announces his return for next year
The good news is that we will be able to see Fleury in action for one last season, but after that, everything indicates that he will announce his retirement (in one year).
Fleury was actually in net for his team in the third period last night, as he took over for Filip Gustavsson (allowing 3 goals on 26 shots).
In 988 career NHL games, Fleury has recorded:
- 73 shutouts
- 2.59 GAA
- 544 wins and 316 losses
- Save percentage of .913.
