Following the frightening scene that occurred yesterday in Pittsburgh, the NHL has made an announcement involving referee Steve Kozari.
The league confirmed that Mr. Kozari was transported to a Pittsburgh hospital for comprehensive examinations following his contact with Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Haydn Fleury.
As of the latest news, he was conscious and alert, had control of all his limbs, and is expected to make a full recovery.
