All things related to Johnny Gaudreau have been removed from the Bell Centre and there is confusion
After the tragedy involving star forward Johnny Gaudreau, tributes have poured in from all sides.
One of the places where people have really tried to pay tribute to him is at the Bell Centre in Montreal (just as in many other places, notably in Columbus and Calgary).
It started quietly.
Gradually, many items were placed at this spot near the Bell Centre to honor Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Gaudreau.
«We played a lot of mini-hockey, usually on our knees with a mini stick, mini nets, and a small ball. And we had a specific room in the house where we were only allowed to play that game.»
«It was a 12 by 12-meter room. There were a lot of holes in the walls, a lot of damage was done to that room because of the competitive spirit in us when we were younger. And that's what pushed us to go all the way.»
- Matt Gaudreau
In short, a few hours after some items were placed, almost everything was removed.
They then tried to start a new memorial for Johnny Gaudreau, but again, a few hours later, everything was taken down.
Why?
Why is it so complicated to pay tribute to Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Gaudreau at the Bell Centre?
Let's hope that the responsible parties can clarify the situation for all of us, because it's indeed unfortunate to see how difficult it is in Montreal to pay tribute to Johnny Gaudreau and his younger brother.
And don't think it's only because of the homeless.
Details will follow.
