There are many questions and few answers at the moment regarding the 5 players who left their team's entourage for personal reasons.

We're talking about Carter Hart, Michael McLeod, Cal Foote, Dillon Dube, and Alex Formenton (Europe), five players from the infamously known 2018 edition of Team Canada Juniors.

A Response Regarding Their Status and Salaries!

According to reports from the renowned Frank Seravalli, for the moment, these players are still being paid and count towards their team's salary cap.

This could change, however, but for now, that's the situation.

"Subject to change, but my understanding of the current situation for the 4 NHL players who took leave for personal reasons:

- Each player will continue to be paid.

- Each player will continue to count against the salary cap.

- Do not count towards the final roster limit."

- Frank Seravalli

Yes, it's causing a stir, but it could change very quickly, especially following the highly anticipated press conference on February 5th. (from the London, Ont. police)

Details to follow.

But yes, for the moment, these players will continue to receive their hefty salaries while staying at home. (for the four NHL players)
