Dirty hit: Jets defensemen throws a head shot on Pens forward, suspension coming
We witnessed a very frightening scene in the last seconds live from Pittsburgh, as Penguins forward Noel Acciari was the victim of a solid hit to the head. (coming from Brenden Dillon)
The player tried to get up, but he clearly had no balance so he fell back to the ground by himself.
Hard to watch footage:
It certainly looks like he suffered a quite severe concussion, unfortunately.
Do you believe that Dillon should/will be suspended for this action?
Acciari, 32, has accumulated four points in 38 games this season with the Penguins. (104 points in 422 career NHL games)
Let's send him positive vibes. This kind of concussion (if confirmed) can really have a long-term impact on a person's health.
