Zack Kassian Reveals the Exact Moment That Ruined His Career, and It's Not Arber Xhekaj to Blame
As you know, Zack Kassian, the former tough guy for the Montreal Canadiens, recently announced his retirement from the NHL. In recent years, he was no longer the same player.
This wasn't just an impression; Kassian has confirmed it in an interview.
He opened up significantly and even pinpointed the exact moment when his career (and life) changed forever.
Many thought it was during a fight against Arber Xhekaj of the Canadiens (featured in the main photo), but it wasn't.
Fortunately for WiFi, he is not responsible for Kassian's misfortunes.
In reality, there is no one to blame. Kassian simply had bad luck during a fight in 2021 with Zack MacEwen. And he is fully aware of it.
"I was never the same after what happened against MacEwen in 2021. The human brain [is peculiar], something happens like that, and it's very hard to become the same afterward." - Kassian
A touching moment for him.
Here is the scene in question.
Wow.
