Last-minute announcement from the Rangers involving Alexis Lafrenière
The tough month for young Alexis Lafrenière of the New York Rangers unfortunately continues.
After a truly disappointing training camp, and following numerous harsh comments directed at him, Lafrenière is now injured.
This is really the last thing he needed right now.
Let's recall that Lafrenière signed a two-year contract for 2.325 million dollars per year to prove his worth to the Rangers, but his offensive touch is no longer there.
Despite opportunities with star players, on the power play, and on the top lines, he has only one little point in his last 15 games (playoffs, regular season, and pre-season included). No goals.
More details to follow.
We really hope things improve for him and that his injury isn't too serious.
