Two signings announced: it's going to stir things up for Arber Xhekaj and the show will be incredible
Over the past few days, two teams from the Montreal Canadiens' division have announced two very interesting signings.
Ryan Reaves with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
And now hard-hitting Zack MacEwen has just signed with the Ottawa Senators, a club that Xhekaj really roughed up last fall.
Things are likely going to heat up for Arber Xhekaj, he will be tested, and we can't wait to see it. We're not worried for him at all, however.
MacEwen, 26, indeed agreed to a three-year contract worth $775,000 per season with the Ottawa Senators. You read that correctly.
He signed for three years! We're talking here about a 6-foot-3-inch, 205-pound winger.
He has accumulated 28 points in his NHL career, but nearly 250 penalty minutes.
See some of his best fights including against a familiar face.
As for Ryan Reaves, let's remember that he signed a 3-year contract for a total value of $4.05 million with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Clearly, the Atlantic Division teams are responding to the Canadiens and to WiFi.
