Last minute announcement: Jordan Binnington is suspended
We mentioned it in the past few hours, things got heated between the St. Louis Blues and the Minnesota Wild last night.
We even almost witnessed a goalie fight between Marc-André Fleury and Jordan Binnington.
Binnington was the instigator of it all, and he particularly went after Wild forward Ryan Hartman.
Here's what happened:
For his actions, he was summoned today for a meeting with the NHL Player Safety Department, and the verdict has just been announced.
Binnington gets a two-game suspension
"Goalie Jordan Binnington is suspended for two games for unsportsmanlike conduct and roughness."
