In a recent article published by TVA Sports, it was revealed that former Montreal Canadiens player Mathieu Perreault made a shocking statement about his former teammate Christian Dvorak.
During the show "La Poche Bleue le midi," Perreault stated:
"I watched the game against Pittsburgh and not once did I think about Dvorak's absence. He's not a guy who will be missed by the Canadiens. He's not a guy who talks much in the locker room, and he doesn't bring super intense energy either." - Mathieu Perreault
In short, he doesn't bring much tangible value to the team or his teammates.
Different experts agreed this afternoon that Dvorak never replaced Phillip Danault, even to the point where Perreault couldn't believe it:
"He was picking up decent stats in the worst team in the league, and you think that guy is going to come in and replace your center who brought you to the Stanley Cup Final by playing 20 minutes a game. I don't understand where the comparison came from. In my opinion, it's not even comparable between Danault and Dvorak." - Mathieu Perreault, TVA Sports
