Surprise: Amazing news for Montreal Canadiens fans
The Montreal Canadiens have collected several surprising points in the NHL standings over the past few weeks, including against the New York Rangers and the Carolina Hurricanes.
This is not pleasing to CH fans who wish for a lower ranking to increase the Habs' chances of selecting generational talent Connor Bedard.

Despite the fact that the CH is currently collecting too many points for some people's liking, here's a good one:
The Arizona Coyotes fall to less than a point behind the Canadiens with a 3-2 overtime loss to Colorado.

The Coyotes are now just one point away from surpassing the Montreal Canadiens in the NHL standings.

By the way, even the Anaheim Ducks are only five points behind the CH.
In short, we can rejoice in the spectacle offered by Martin St-Louis' team night after night! The dream of winning the Connor Bedard lottery is still very much alive!
