People who watched the game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Tampa Bay Lightning witnessed something you never want to see.

Steven Stamkos was injured an had to leave the game.
It was later confirmed on social medias that Stamkos wouldn't be back in the game.

Then, worrying details came out by a renowned doctor:
Can't see because of his gear but Stamkos acts like someone who dislocated their patella (kneecap)

NFL fans will remember when this happened to Mahomes and he missed 2 games in 2019

Otherwise, maybe an LCL injury but I'm not overly convinced of that

If it is a dislocated kneecap, he will get examined and an MRI next

Another key factor can be if this has happened before

If he needs surgery, would be season ending

If he does not, would expect similar timing to Mahomes

If indeed it is a kneecap injury that requires surgery, Stamkos would miss the rest of the season.
