In the final seconds, one of the most respected draft experts in the field, Craig Button of TSN, has just revealed his brand-new list for the 2023 draft.

There is a huge surprise in the top 5, and it would be quite a plot twist.

It would indeed be a turnaround to see the Canadiens draft Sandin-Pellikka at the 5th overall spot, especially since he has consistently been ranked around the 15th position by other experts.

The good news is realizing how much lists can differ from one expert to another, and certainly from one team to another.

It gives hope to see one of the big names slide down to the Montreal Canadiens' pick. In this case, it would be the highly promising Will Smith.
