Matvei Michkov on the verge of being drafted at the 6th overall pick? A major hint has just surfaced

A few weeks away from the highly anticipated 2023 National Hockey League draft, an informant has released some very interesting information.

Without a doubt, the hidden gem of this draft is the young sensation Matvei Michkov, who undoubtedly has the talent to be a second overall pick (even a first, according to some), but he could go much lower than that for reasons you already know.

So, the draft question becomes: Where will Michkov be drafted?

An expert has provided an intriguing clue by examining which top 10 teams chose not to select Russian players last year.


And it says a lot because there were several extremely talented Russian players who slipped in the 2022 draft (and several teams decided to completely ignore them).

This leaves us with the following logical destinations for Michkov: Anaheim, Columbus, Arizona, Washington, Detroit, and St. Louis.

We can rule out Anaheim, as they are most likely going to select Adam Fantilli, and we can rule out Columbus, as they have announced they will draft a center.
