An unseen video of Matvei Michkov has just surfaced and it really speaks volumes about what's to come
On Monday, TVA Sports journalist Anthony Martineau released an article that had a bombshell effect. Indeed, he met with Matvei Michkov's current assistant coach, who was very reassuring about the young forward's future, at the end of the 2025-2026 season.
Martineau also met Dmitri Zavgorodniy, a teammate of the Russian phenomenon with HC Sochi, who also played in the QMJHL, with Rimouski Oceanic. The latter affirmed that Michkov is the perfect player for the Canadiens.

Wow, Matvei Michkov seems to be quite a hockey player. It will be interesting to see if the uncertainty surrounding his transition to the NHL will deter the league's GMs, including Kent Hughes!
