Panthers Coach Has a Meltdown behind the Bench and Screams at His Players
During a game between Florida and Toronto, tensions flared when the head coach of the Panthers, Paul Maurice, screamed at his players.
Maurice Swore at His Players!
The incident took place at the beginning of the second period, when the Leafs scored a goal that Maurice challenged. While the play was being reviewed, Maurice took the opportunity to scream at his players, saying,
"You're playing like a bunch of f***ing b*tches. f***ing b*tches!!!"
This outburst was certainly an unconventional way to motivate players who are fighting to secure a playoff spot. While it remains to be seen if Maurice's words had any positive impact on his team, it is clear that such behaviour is not ideal for a coach. Swearing at players could be seen as a sign of disrespect and could potentially damage the coach's relationship with his team.
