During the last minutes, live from the NHL All-Star Skills Competition, we witnessed an awkward scene.
Tampa Bay Lightning star forward Nikita Kucherov completely botched an event.
It's one thing to want to have fun and not necessarily give it your all as if your life depended on it, but it's another to outright ridicule the event as Kucherov just did.
He didn't even try a little...
The fans really didn't appreciate it and he was roundly booed.

Kucherov, 30 years old, has accumulated 85 points, including 32 goals, in 49 games this season with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Yes, contrary to what the images above show, he is an incredibly talented player.
It's not the end of the world, but let's just say he could have tried a little harder. The awkwardness was palpable in the arena.
