Jim Montgomery Puts Fans in Their Place and Already Has to Make a Strong Public Statement About Logan Mailloux
The disappointment of seeing a prospect who scored 19 goals last season in 72 games traded for a defenseman with only 8 games in the show was certainly real.
But Blues head coach Jim Montgomery wasted no time setting the record straight.
In a recent interview, the Montreal-born coach claimed that Mailloux is nothing less than a top-10 pick!

"I mean this is a guy that probably goes Top 10 in the draft"
Montgomery already seems to like his new defenseman and isn't afraid to defend him publicly.
Let's hope the coach knows how to use him properly so that his boss, Doug Armstrong, doesn't lose face in the coming years.
Especially if Bolduc becomes a consistent 20-25 goal scorer..
