A big news has just dropped in the world of hockey.
A few hours after Dillon Dube (of the Flames), goaltender Carter Hart has also suddenly left his team's entourage indefinitely.
Official statement from the Flyers involving goaltender Carter Hart
According to the general manager of the Philadelphia Flyers, Daniel Brière:
"Carter Hart has requested and been granted an indefinite leave of absence for personal reasons. The club will not have any further comment at this time."
Carter Hart, 25 years old, has played 26 games this season for the Flyers. He has a record of 12-9-3, an average of 2.80, and a save percentage of 0.906.
It seems that it will now be up to goaltender Samuel Ersson to hold the fort and keep his team in the NHL playoff race.
