Surprise announcement from the Devils involving Jake Allen and the wait is officially over for him: he will be in the net tonight
We have been monitoring this announcement for almost a week now, and we were expecting it on Saturday, but it has just been confirmed by the New Jersey Devils.
What a nice surprise!
The wait is over for Jake Allen, who apparently got his work visa sooner than expected! He will be in the net tonight against the Stars, in Dallas, and will make his debut with his new team.
It will be a good challenge for him, but we sincerely wish him the best of luck!
Allen, 33, has a record of 6-12-3 this season with the Montreal Canadiens, with a 3.65 average and a .892 save percentage.
"Jake Allen gets the start tonight for the Devils against the Dallas Stars."
This will be a great opportunity for him to become the number one goalie for a National Hockey League team again.
New Jersey is desperately looking for a solution.
