We have a last-minute change to announce for the Montreal Canadiens ahead of tonight's game against Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers.
Joshua Roy is removed from the lineup in favor of Kirby Dach
That's what the Canadiens have just announced.
"Kirby Dach will return to the lineup against the Oilers in place of Joshua Roy."
- Montreal Canadiens
It's obviously bad news for Joshua Roy, who sees his very important audition come to an end after only one game.
Last night against the Calgary Flames, in his one and only NHL game of the season, Joshua Roy recorded no points, no shots on goal, and four hits in just 7 minutes and 58 seconds of ice time.
That said, it's still great news to see Dach already reintegrated into the lineup.
"The Montreal Canadiens announce that Kirby Dach will draw back into the lineup tonight against the Oilers.
Joshua Roy will be the one coming out. Expect to see Dach with Veleno and Bolduc."
- Marco D'Amico
Let's remember that tonight's game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Edmonton Oilers will start at 9:00 PM.
Kirby Dach, 24 years old, is a 6-foot-4, 221-pound forward who has 2 points in 5 games this season. I'm really looking forward to seeing him again and checking the state of his knee for this game in Alberta.
