We have an update regarding the plan for Ivan Demidov and the Montreal Canadiens. According to what TVA Sports journalist Renaud Lavoie mentioned last night, Demidov could indeed reunite with Lane Hutson on the ice as early as today.
Finally!
The Canadiens have announced there will be an optional practice today, live from Toronto, and we already know that Lane Hutson will be at that practice, since he has only missed one all season (and that was because the Canadiens forced him to take a day off).
We know Hutson is really eager to play with Demidov. We know Demidov has mentioned several times that he's really looking forward to playing with Hutson.
Well, it looks like the two will finally be able to hit the ice together in the next few minutes.
This should be very exciting to follow, live from Toronto.

This would also be the very first opportunity for fans to see Ivan Demidov in uniform, in Canada, and wearing the colors of the Montreal Canadiens.
