Habs Make Official Decision on Ivan Demidov Ahead of Tonight's Game Against the Leafs

After last night's game, Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis made two announcements.
First, he confirmed that there will finally be changes made to the lineup for tonight's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, and second, he gave his verdict on Ivan Demidov.
That didn't take long.
St-Louis specifically confirmed a change in net, as it will finally be the young Jakub Dobes who has the important task of stopping the Toronto Maple Leafs and Auston Matthews.
There will also be other changes.
Those hoping that Arber Xhekaj can finally return to the lineup now have reason to hope!
Martin St-Louis Already Gives a Verdict on Ivan Demidov
On the other hand, for those who were hoping to see Demidov come in as a reinforcement in the lineup tonight-unfortunately, we can already rule that out.
St-Louis confirmed the news that's been circulating for a while and confirmed what we already knew about Ivan Demidov and tonight's game in Toronto.
However, the young Demidov will definitely be present and in the stands as a "healthy scratch"!
This will be another important step for the youngster on his path to making his NHL debut.
Obviously, we're receiving a lot of questions about Demidov, but the real story here is that there will finally be changes made to the lineup!

Ivan Demidov, age 19, recorded 49 points in 65 games this season in the KHL, plus 5 points in 6 playoff games.
