Surprise in Brossard as a Familiar Face Shows Up in a Coach's Uniform for the Canadiens

We have a nice surprise to report today, live from Brossard, for the Montreal Canadiens organization.
As reported by Marc-Olivier Cook, none other than David Savard just hit the ice wearing a coach's uniform!
We know there have been plenty of rumors circulating since the start of the summer suggesting that David Savard could be hired by the Montreal Canadiens (similar to what happened with Paul Byron).
Has it already been finalized and made official?
David Savard just stepped onto the ice in Brossard wearing a coach's uniform for the Montreal Canadiens
This is definitely a situation to watch, but don't be surprised if Savard follows in Paul Byron's footsteps and the Habs announce his hiring in the coming hours.
It would be an excellent addition!
Savard even had a good chat with none other than Kirby Dach in the last few minutes.

Also worth noting, Savard and Dach were far from the only ones on the ice in Brossard.
Pretty impressive sight!
Juraj Slafkovsky, Oliver Kapanen, Alex Newhook, Zachary Bolduc, Ivan Demidov, Joe Veleno, Samuel Blais, Brendan Gallagher, Nick Suzuki, Patrik Laine, Jake Evans, Mike Matheson, Alexandre Carrier, Kaiden Guhle, Arber Xhekaj, Noah Dobson, Jayden Struble, Lane Hutson, Jakub Dobes, and Kaapo Kahkonen were all on the ice as well.
Training camp doesn't even start for another two weeks, and already we have practically a full group! Pretty incredible.. The guys are ready!
