The young Juraj Slafkovsky continues to make his mark at the Ice Hockey World Championship for Slovakia, and he is extremely impressive.
If you haven't seen him play yet, it's really worth it.
Team Slovakia beat team USA and Slaff took the time to chirp his buddy Cole Caufield.
He is so dominant, and he's really starting to gain physical confidence, which is huge for him.

As Marco Normandin mentions, it really looks like Slafkovsky's potential is even higher than we thought, and maybe Nick Suzuki wasn't exaggerating at all, after all, when he said that the Slovak will be one of the top 5 wingers in the world one day.

This is just a small example, but it's been like this since the start of the tournament for Juraj Slafkovsky.
What a player we have on our hands! Hats off to Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens, they really seem to have hit a home run with the 1st overall pick in 2022!
I don't want to exaggerate too much, but at the World Championship currently, despite Brady Tkachuk, Trevor Zegras, Connor Bedard, and company, Slafkovsky is certainly one of the best players in the tournament. That says a lot.
Slafkovsky, 20 years old, has collected 20 goals and 50 points in total this season, in 82 games.
