We've had an addition to the organizational chart of the Montreal Canadiens.

At the third level, in the last few minutes, the Trois-Rivières Lions announced the signing of a defenseman.
An interesting acquisition for Ron Choules' team.
"The Trois-Rivières Lions announced they have signed defenseman Lukash Matthews." - Trois-Rivières Lions

He will try to make a good impression by the end of the season, in hopes of earning an invitation to the Montreal Canadiens or Laval Rocket camp next September.
Matthews, a 23-year-old right-handed player, comes straight from the university ranks, having played for Carleton in the Ottawa area.
He will provide reinforcement to the organization, which is currently affected by injuries.
In 20 games this year, the Ontario native has amassed 8 points.
He is considered a defensive player, standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 185 pounds.
