"The Trois-Rivières Lions have announced the signing of defenseman Keenan MacIsaac.
He will provide good support to the team in the final stretch of the season being a very mobile defenseman capable of making an impact in both ends of the ice!" - Lions 3-R
MacIsaac, 24, is indeed a former QMJHL player.
He played for the Chicoutimi Saguenéens, the Acadie-Bathurst Titan, and the Baie-Comeau Drakkar between 2015 and 2020, gathering close to 100 points in 267 career games in the junior ranks.
He now leaves the university ranks to join the Lions.
