Seth Jarvis signed by MTL via offer sheet? It comes from Sportsnet and it's big
The Sportsnet network just made a very interesting publication regarding forward Seth Jarvis and an offer sheet from the Montreal Canadiens.
Knowing that Kent Hughes has yet to acquire his coveted young top 6 forward, a new option has just been raised by Sportsnet.
After names like Martin Necas, Trevor Zegras, Patrik Laine, and Rutger McGroarty, it's now Seth Jarvis's turn to be seriously linked to MTL.
An offer sheet from the Canadiens for Seth Jarvis?
This is what has just been suggested.
Journalist Emily Sadler indeed mentioned the idea of an offer sheet for Jarvis, who is far from a contractual agreement with Carolina.
«Seth Jarvis could sign an offer sheet, and not just with anyone: with the Montreal Canadiens.»
She mentions this:
«He will undoubtedly receive a salary increase. Few teams have the resources to afford it, but among those that can, there is a team with a blue-white-red logo looking for a solid forward»
 Emily Sadler
Will this be an avenue Kent Hughes takes if he's unable to complete a trade? To be continued.
Jarvis is the kind of player that could undoubtedly interest the Canadiens.
Seth Jarvis, 22, is the 13th overall pick of the 2020 draft (1st round) and he amassed nearly 70 points this season with the Hurricanes.
He scored 33 goals and 34 assists, for a total of 67 points in 81 games. He added 9 points in 11 games during the 2024 playoffs.
A name to remember if he remains a restricted free agent for a long time.
