After Samuel Montembeault's strong finish to last night's game, we were eager to see what would come next for the Canadiens' Quebec-born goaltender.

Well, according to the excellent Marc-Olivier Cook, the footage from this morning looked rather concerning for Samuel.
After an emotional, high-intensity game that sparked plenty of controversy...
Monty also had a rough practice, allowing several goals during team drills, and was later separated from the group to work individually with Stéphane Robidas and Éric Raymond.
It's also worth noting that his body language was worrisome...
"It hasn't been an easy practice for Monty. He's allowed several goals during drills with the group, and now he's working one-on-one with Stéphane Robidas and Éric Raymond.

You can clearly see in his body language that his confidence isn't at 100%."

A Very Difficult Practice for Samuel Montembeault Today

It's definitely not ideal, but as he showed us clearly last night, Montembeault is capable of facing adversity and bouncing back stronger.
Following last night's game against the Philadelphia Flyers at the Bell Centre, here are Montembeault's updated stats: three wins, three losses, and one overtime loss, with a goals-against average of 3.67 and a save percentage of .855.
