It was really touching to see what happened in the Montreal Canadiens locker room last night, especially involving goaltender Samuel Montembeault.
It was really great to see some of the quieter players (normally) raise their voices and speak from the heart about what happened.
Yes, this team stands together!
Yes, the guys are 100% behind their goaltender, and they really didn't like what happened at the Bell Centre.
Defenseman Noah Dobson said this...
"He was our best player [on Tuesday night]," said Noah Dobson.
"When I realized they were applauding after he made a save... it wasn't something fun to see, even when you're not the one involved," said Bolduc.
"He showed character and great mental strength. He helped us throughout the game," he added in praise."

It's really wonderful to see a team that stands together like this - and quite something that two of the newest players were the fiercest in defending Samuel.
This beautiful culture of family and wolf pack mentality is truly contagious!
"When I hear that, I feel empathy. I just hope he can trust his training and stay in his bubble." - Martin St-Louis
So it's widespread... and we love to see it!
