The general manager of the Montreal Canadiens, Kent Hughes, has finally revealed his asking price for forward Jake Evans. From what we understand, Evans, who is having an outstanding season with the Habs, is still available on the trade market, but not at just any price.
Clearly, the Canadiens' management has now set a price for Evans.
Let's also remember that Jake Evans' contract expires at the end of the season, and he is set to become completely unrestricted, which explains the trade rumors surrounding him.

You might think I'm being intense, but for just a second-round pick, I wouldn't even make this trade if I were Kent Hughes.

This season, he has accumulated 27 points in 54 games, including 11 goals.
He is possibly one of the best penalty-killing forwards in the entire National Hockey League at the moment.
