While everyone has been talking about Martin Necas for several days, trade rumors involving Trevor Zegras and the Montreal Canadiens have quieted down.

The Canadiens reportedly recontacted the Ducks about Zegras in the last few hours, which is a major last-minute development.
Zegras, 23, the 9th overall pick in 2019, has amassed 154 points in 211 career NHL games. In his first two full seasons, he recorded 61 points in 75 games and 65 points in 81 games.
