NHL Announces Slight Delay for Tonight's Canadiens vs. Canucks Game, and Issues Statement
The National Hockey League has just released an official statement regarding the official game time for the Montreal Canadiens tonight. With the Vancouver Canucks and Elias Pettersson in town, let's remember that the game will take place at 7:30 PM, not 7:00 PM.
This was confirmed on the NHL.com site, under the Montreal Canadiens section.
«Reminder for fans at home: Monday's game will be broadcast on Prime. RDS will provide French coverage. The puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 PM ET.National Hockey League

It has become a habit on Mondays during this 2024-2025 NHL season, but it's good to have an official confirmation.
The Canadiens' home games are almost always scheduled at 7:00 PM, but there will be an exception tonight, and it will indeed be at 7:30 PM.
Let's also recall that this game is an important one for Martin St-Louis' squad, as a victory could officially put them in playoff contention (for now).
On the other side, the Canucks are likely to be without key players.
«Quinn Hughes will be a game-time decision on Monday against Montreal. Tocchet doesn't think Elias Pettersson will play, but he will check with him after the team's optional skate this morning.»
- Thomas Drance The Canadiens have also summoned the media for a press conference in preparation for this game, to clarify the statuses of Patrik Laine and David Savard.
Details will follow.
