Michael Pezzetta just cut his hair and the results are amazing
The Montreal Canadiens forward, Michael Pezzetta, just cut his hair for a good cause, and we have the photos.
"Pezz cut his hair to help make a wig for a child with cancer." - Montreal Canadiens
See the photos, and especially, the link to donate:
"My long hair has been a big part of my appearance for over 4 years now. Last summer, I decided not to cut it and let it grow for the next 8 months so that I could donate it at the end of the season. Many people suffer hair loss due to chemotherapy, and I wanted to raise awareness and hopefully raise funds for a group of volunteers who dedicate their time to helping those who need a new look.
Buying a wig can be very expensive and to make real ones, hair donations are needed. Volunteers at CanDonate Hair make and give wigs for free to children in the province of Quebec who have lost their hair during their battle with cancer.
I am happy to be able to work with CanDonate Hair, and I hope that our joint effort will raise funds to help more children regain confidence by giving them the chance to feel like themselves again."
- Michael Pezzetta
Pezzetta, 26, has amassed 12 points in 61 games this season, including three goals. (59 penalty minutes)
Bravo to Pezz for his wonderful gesture!
Details will follow.
