A hockey season can be full of twists and turns, and the Montreal Canadiens have unfortunately just experienced that firsthand.

Martin St-Louis' squad has gone through quite a roller coaster over the past few hours.
Just a few hours after Cole Caufield's incredible overtime goal against the Nashville Predators, the atmosphere was much less festive today.
But unfortunately, that's not all!

Other injuries have been announced by the Montreal Canadiens

In addition to Kaiden Guhle's injury, please note that two other Canadiens players are also hurt.
Kirby Dach and Patrik Laine are injured as well and will miss tonight's game...
"Defenseman Kaiden Guhle (lower body, 4 to 6 weeks) and forwards Kirby Dach (lower body, day-to-day) and Patrik Laine (lower body, day-to-day) will not play tonight. Forward Owen Beck has been recalled from the Laval Rocket (emergency recall)."

- Montreal Canadiens
Here's what it will look like for tonight:
"Caufield-Suzuki-Slafkovsky

Kapanen-Newhook-Demidov

Bolduc-Veleno-Beck

Anderson-Evans-Gallagher

Matheson-Dobson

Struble-Hutson

Xhekaj-Carrier

Montembeault

Dobes"

So indeed, there's a major shake-up among the forward lines, as well as changes on defense, with Lane Hutson notably getting a new defensive partner in Jayden Struble.
"Owen Beck and Joe Veleno will make their regular season debuts tonight"

- Montreal Canadiens
More details to follow.
