"Ovi, Marty here.
I just want to take a moment to congratulate you on this incredible achievement.
I was very lucky to play against you for many years.
I've seen you in action, and the fact that you've reached this goal is amazing.
Congratulations."
- Martin St-Louis, Montreal Canadiens
It's truly a beautiful moment!
Interesting fact: if the Montreal Canadiens do indeed make the playoffs, there's a very good chance Martin St-Louis' squad will face the Washington Capitals.
Ovechkin, now 39 years old, has already racked up 42 goals this season (in just 61 games), which is absolutely incredible on its own.
