Key Canadiens Member Is Reportedly on His Way Out of the Organization

The excellent Marco Normandin has just reported a major exclusive update concerning the Montreal Canadiens organization.
Kent Hughes is reportedly about to lose a key figure within the organization, Laval Rocket head coach Pascal Vincent.
"I'm told that Pascal Vincent will leave the Canadiens organization after the Rocket's season to become an assistant coach for an NHL team.
I don't have the identity of the team at the moment, but last month I was told to keep a close eye on the Lightning in this matter, as he was very high on their list. I don't know if those two pieces of information are connected. There's also Patrick Roy, who suddenly needs new assistants on Long Island."

It Could Be Over for Pascal Vincent Within the Montreal Canadiens Organization
Not only would he be leaving the Laval Rocket, but he would also be leaving the Canadiens organization entirely.
This would be a major loss for the future of the Canadiens and for the development of their young players.
Marco adds that he doesn't know which team hired Pascal Vincent as an assistant, but we can immediately think of the Tampa Bay Lightning (because Julien BriseBois holds Vincent in very high regard and he could eventually replace Jon Cooper if needed) and also the New York Islanders.
Let's not forget, Patrick Roy currently needs to find at least two new assistant coaches.
More details to come, but this is a major story that just dropped right in the middle of the Laval Rocket's playoff run, no less!
It looks like Pascal Vincent may be coaching his final games, or even his final game, behind the bench of the Laval Rocket.
